Sandrine and Serge open the doors of their family home
Behind its wooden gate, « Chez Marie » is a genuine Normandy stone house, fully rethought in 2021: old walls, modern comfort.
Here you wake up to birdsong, have breakfast on the terrace, cycle up to the Mont de Besneville — and within a ten-minute drive you can have your toes in the sand of the Côte des Isles or a basket to fill at Portbail market.
Rated 3-star holiday home and labelled Gîtes de France (ref. 50G1189), the gîte sleeps up to 4, by the week or by the night outside July-August.
The house 
80 m² designed for slowing down
A living space under the rafters
The full height of the old barn has been kept: timber ceiling, staircase up to the mezzanine, and one open room where you cook, eat and laze without ever being apart. Fully fitted kitchen (oven, hob, dishwasher…), sofa and armchairs, TV.
Four beds, two moods
On the ground floor, a quiet bedroom with a double bed (140 × 190), antique chest of drawers and wardrobe. Upstairs, the mezzanine and its two single beds (90 × 190) — the children's favourite den. Linen provided, beds made up on arrival, baby equipment on request.
The terrace, your open-air room
Between the dry-stone walls, the private terrace gathers garden furniture, sun loungers, a parasol and a barbecue (charcoal not supplied) for long summer evenings. Two private parking spaces await behind the gate.
